Russia’s largest traders say create union of grain exporters

MOSCOW, Apr 23 (PRIME) -- Largest grain traders, Aston, Glencore Agriculture IGC, OZK-Yug of United Grain Company, and Trade House RIF have signed a memorandum to create a union of grain exporters to promote Russian grain and products of its processing on international markets, the companies said in a joint statement on Tuesday.

The companies hold more than a third of Russia’s grain export market, the statement read.

Deputy CEO of United Grain Company Eduard Zernin will become the union’s executive director.
